While I'm waiting on the first snowfall...

I'll just keep making Smoothies!

I'm not a fan of drinking milk...matter of fact don't even like to drink milk but add it to a smoothie and I can't even taste it. Seems like Danny and I are pretty much hooked on these treats and hey it's low fat, low calorie, and DELICIOUS!

I've just been mixing up a few simple ingredients.
This one was made using 1/2 banana, 1 serving of strawberry yogurt, 1/2 cup low fat milk, 1 cup of frozen mango's and a few ice cubes. Blend it all together and enjoy!

We have used all kinds of fruit and I also like using the Lime Yogurt adds a little extra punch to the smoothie!

Happy Trails....Ginger

Sounds delish the lime sounds even better! I will have to get me another blender before I can try it though. Have a great Friday! Blessings,Karen

Mmmmmm... sounds tasty and refreshing! I always forget about the frozen fruits... thanks for the reminder as they are healthier than the container fruits!

I just jumped on the smoothie band wagon last week in my attempt to eat healthier.
I wrap my banana in foil the night before and put it in the freezer than chop it the next morning. Don't know why someone told me to do that. But helps make the smoothie colder. I don't like warm tasting milk. I been using Activa for my yogurt.
This morning I am using blueberries.
Guess I better go make mine before it is time to go to the shop for hooking day.

It looks yummy, after I got off the scale this morning, I will be enjoying smoothies, a bunch! Kinda through me there, first snowfall? I would be looking forward to it too.
We are supposed to be down to 89 by Sunday and I am excited. I just can't work with wool with it still being hot, even with air conditioning.
Have a great weekend, oh I love your post from yesterday too, I just didn't have a chance to comment. I love your "chiggers."

Sounds wonderful - I too dislike milk so this is a good way to camoflauge it!

I do not like milk either. I was allergic to it as a baby, so never acquired a taste for it. But I do like it in cereal and ice cream and smoothies, so I get it that way;)
