No yo yo's or zebra's ....so hope you like yarrow and zinna's! I did the yarrow with french knots and the zinnia's with lazy daisy stitches. My Primitive Sampler ~*A is for Angel*~

(FREE DOODLE JUST RIGHT CLICK AND PRINT)

Sometimes I find myself with a little free time setting in a doctor's office or waiting on the dear ol' hubby at Lowe's or Home Depot so I usually have a little handwork that I leave in the truck for just those times.

Once upon a time not so long ago I did several different alphabet samplers and ran across them today and I thought why not make one up one myself. So here is one of my free doodles just for you.

I made up the "A is for Angel" in about 15 minutes so I plan to keep them quick, easy, and a little bit prim.

I'll offer one or two every week and once I get them all done I'll finish them up into a sampler quilt and then I'll have a giveaway for the completed little quilt.

Until then feel free to click and print off the pattern for your own use. I'm making my blocks about 4" square but you choose whatever size is best for you. You can also use them for needle punch, rug hooking, folk art or whatever suits your fancy. I'd love to see what you come up with.

~Redwork~ Heading to the Chicken House & Linger Here~

I found a few hours yesterday while at work to thread up a needle with some red cotton thread and look what appeared. A little girl ready to gather in some eggs. Reminded me of my Mom...each day she lets her chickens and roosters out for few hours and each day gathers in the eggs. I thought it might be a sweet little gift for her since yesterday was her birthday!





Also, my sweet friend Betty offered this great little doodle over at her blog and with a little time on my hands yesterday I set about stitching up this one. I think I know the perfect little place for it to go. Thank you Betty always love your doodles....may just have to needle punch this one too!

Well got to run we are having the family over with a few friends to celebrate Mom's birthday and Mom & Dad's anniversary, too!
