This evening I spent a few hours dyeing some 3 ply and 4 ply wool yarns....More yarn is soaking so tomorrow will be another day of dyeing. The day was pretty windy so it didn't take long for them to dry!
Yesterday we had 17 gals come over for a farmgirl day of hooking, punching and sewing.
We had bbq ribs, brisket, and pulled pork with hot rolls, baked potatoes, salad, and coleslaw....oh and don't forget dessert. Teresa made lemon tarts and mom made brownies.....yum!
Back to work on some fun projects.
Teresa likes the whimsical brights and was working on some needle punch.
Carolyn was working on oxford punch and Christine was doing some wool applique.
Nancy and Diane joined us for the first time and brought some quilts they were working on.
Carol is hooking on a rug and Dee is busy with a needle punch piece.
Karan has really been improving as a rug hooker she is working on a Proverbs 31 rug and it is looking great.
These ladies were busy locker hooking, making penny rugs, needle punching, and hooking.
Lots of fun and inspiration each month we meet!
Happy Trails.....Ginger
