Loop by Loop and Unending Questions

Pulling loops and loops of wool and it's so relaxing even if it is sweltering outside. Colors that remind me of Autumn.

Started another rug and still need to thread a needle and bind a few others oh well!

Have you ever really stopped and listened to a little kid. It's amazing how fast they learn and the questions they come up with. Today's question was "Are centipede's helpful or harmful to the earth" the answer...Yes they are helpful! Goodness I'm going to have to brush up on my science:)

Happy Trails....Ginger

Another awesome rug start! I need to pull some loops - it has been forever!

Yes, I know the amount of questions a kid can ask... and how on earth do they think of so many?

My grandbabies were here today and yes they ask lots and lots of questions. The biggest one today was "Where is Papa?" I was so glad when he finally got home and then I could listen as they asked questions.
Such a sweet time of life.

The pattern is great, I love those colors too. Kids out think me all the time. I developed a terrible habit of always answering my son when he was growing up, now I talk too much, and he's still smarter than I am! Just coming out of his teenage years, I realized my mistake, and he can still out maneuver me, every time!

Those loops are gathering into something good! I see pumpkins! That's a very intelligent question! I think that your carefully worded answer may have saved a centipede's life! lol!

Loving what I can of your new rug! You know growing up we had neighbors that didn't have kids (loved them but couldn't have them) and I was the kid always asking George "Why you doing that" Why does this and that happen, etc. Well they come up from Florida every two years and visit with my parents - I'm 50 and they are in their early nineties and George still calls me the "Why" girl! Then he starts asking me "Why" - too funny! It's true - you have to be on your toes around kids!

That's a very good question coming from a 3 yr old. Our daughter once asked me what I was doing, I said "knocking down cobwebs", she asked what are cobs???? I still don't know.

Must be the week for bug questions.
My kids have asked me questions about grubs, beetles and dragonflys. None of which I could give them a good solid answer without turning to my computer to get the correct answer.

You've just gotta love seeing the world through the eyes of a kid!! Lovely colors in your rug. It makes me think even more of fall!

Hi Ginger,
Way ahead of ya ... I have been wishing the days away, thinking of fall ... not because I love the decorating, but the coooooooler temps.
I am so tired of the heat ... It is so hard on the animals.
Your mat looks like a fall beauty.
Have a great week.
