My week at Camp!

I really enjoyed my days at the Star of Texas Rug Hooking Camp. I learned so much from Maria Barton of Star Rug Company and enjoyed working on her patterns. "Tilda" is such a sweet little rug that only took part of a day to finish of course I didn't have the distractions of having to cook or do laundry!

The little puppy dog I made for you guessed it "Sloan"....just got to finish the binding.

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year so the "Little Drummer Boy" was the first rug I worked on. Such a fun rug to do.

I got a good start on the Antique Santa and Reindeer rug. I'll be humming a few Christmas carols as I work on this one during the heat of summer.

It's hard to believe we are already into the month of June....seems the older I get the faster time flies just makes you appreciate each and every day!

Happy Trails....Ginger

Thanks for coming by today, I just had to tell you how beautiful your rugs are and I wish I lived there so you could teach me. I muddle along and my rugs look like a someone who has only read books about rugs would look. Yours are just beautiful.
Keep hooking and I stare in wonder at them, I love your Halloween rug at the top.
Thanks for sharing your pictures of camp too. Very beautiful rugs there too.

Betty, Ginger's finger just fly over the surface of her rugs. Almost enough to make me wonder again about a frame. :) PJ hooks quickly too, and her rugs are wonderfully hooked.

Ginger learned about a wonderful book and another hook which she ordered during camp. The finishing of rugs is often our least favorite part, but you can see her's are great!

Love seeing Sloan's rug ready to bind. Hope it will be staying at MoMo's house! :)
