In The Meadow We Can Build A Snowman
I thought I would pull out the wool and give rug hooking another try. There are so many talented hookers out there and do they ever make some nice rugs. I struggle with monk's cloth but I'm pulling up loops with ease on this linen.
I'm hoping that if I work on this a little every evening even if I just get a few strips worked in it will be finished before the Christmas season.
I've made it to day 3 so far so good. Thank goodness I like primitive because my hooking is just as primitive as can be!
Today I made a visit to Country Collections for a few hours of stitching with some friends. It's always a good time when you are surrounded by wool, fabric, friends, and food!
Wishing each of you a fun~filled happy weekend!
Happy Trails....Ginger

Yay Ginger!! :) I am soo glad you're finding the linen easier to work on!!! Don't give up girl! Keep pushing through until you "hit your groove" - and you WILL hit it!! - and then it's totally smooth sailing! :) Your snowman rug is looking great!!
