~*Happy Labor Day*~

It's another busy week and for us Labor Day means of another day of LABOR! I find myself at work today but am pleased that the telephone is not ringing constantly and I can find a little time to work on some needle punch pieces I brought along.

The weather will be changing soon and the days are already beginning to shorten. I want to take a walk in our little woods and begin gathering the dropping acorns to put in my wooden bowls along with my other fall items. I've been hearing a hoot owl over by the pond even during the day...wonder if that means anything or maybe he just wanted to say he doesn't give a hoot what time of day it is!

I've been punching like a crazy lady here lately. I guess you could say it's my therapy.

I came up with this great white pumpkin and it reminds me of the carriage in Cinderalla. I love that little song the mice sing while she is busy working...
Cinderelly, Cinderelly
Night and day it's Cinderelly

now I change it up to fit my needs a bit

Gingerelly, Gingerelley
Night and day it's Gingerelly
Make the fire, fix the breakfast
Wash the dishes, do the mopping

And the sweeping and the dusting
They always keep her hopping

She goes around in circles
Till she's very, very dizzy
Still they holler

Keep a-busy Gingerelly!

It's true I do sing this occasionally and by no means do I have a singing voice.

My good friend Betty of Primitivebetty's was such a dear and honored me with this award. Be sure to pop over to her blog and see what she has been creating. She does awesome olde~style handmades. I have the pleasure of owning a few of her handmades.
Now along with this honor you place the award on your blog and in return you award 7 other deserving folks.
Alice of A day in the Life
Trudy of Bits of Wool
Marte of Boggy Creek Primitives
Terri of Thistle House Primitives
Laurie of Wooly Red Rug
Julie of Plumruncreek
Cindy of Woolly Lott

There are so many great blogs out there it was hard to just choose these.

Have a Safe and Happy Labor Day my Friends!

Happy Trails...Ginger
