A Rainy July 4th Weekend packed with fun!

An overnight road trip to Tulsa was packed with lots of rain but it didn't stop the fun. We enjoyed going to the Aquarium and the hotel we stayed at had an indoor water park perfect for Sloan. Our son and daughter in law invited us to join them and we had a good time seeing all the different things that live in the ocean and playing in the water with Sloan.

On the way up I worked on some crocheted dishcloths to help pass the time.
Hope you enjoy the pictures....

Dan went down the frog slide and I must admit I did too! Guess some people never grow up!

(PaPa was worn out)

Could there be 2 of the same lil' boy....he had a great time making faces at himself!

It rained all the way back home....I'm certainly not going to complain with it being July the rain is more than welcome!

Happy Trails....Ginger

Wow! Those are some very interesting looking creatures you found there! Perfect timing for the weekend! Aren't those dishcloths addictive? LOL! ;-) Please send some rain up here! We could sure use it!

Looks like y'all had a great time. Love the pic of Sloan making faces at himself! That slide certainly did look tempting. We have had sun and rain in varying amounts this last week, but you are SO Right. Rain in July is a blessing!

I'm sure Sloan had a ball at the water park!

What a fun trip, I loved the pictures of the fish. You are so blessed. Wow, I forget about the rain in Oklahoma in the summer. Nothing like it. And the lighting of course. :) Thanks for sharing
