Primitive Hand Hooked Chair Pad

When I saw this pattern by Mad Hen I just knew it would fit right in here on the farm. There are 4 different chair pads in this set and this is the first one I have finished hooking.

I've also been putting in a little work on the spool rug I started awhile back. Slowly making progress on that one. It seems like scrappy rugs take me twice as long.

Our ebay group "AAPG" will be having another online retreat this weekend...guess I'll see what I can come up with. I've never tried hooking directly onto wool so it should be interesting!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend no matter what you might be doing in your neck of the woods!

Happy Trails....Ginger

Ginger, I really like the chair pad.I bet the rest are just as cute. Love the style of chicken.
Hooking into wool is fun, just don't stretch your wool to tight on the frame. You will enjoy it.

Heading off to work at the Saltbox today.

I love this piece, I remember my Mom hooked up alot of chair seats especially for all the dining room chairs.
I am working on my first hooked piece, love the whole process so far

I LOVE the chairpad! I'll bet it will fit right in there on the farm! :)

The relay looks like a lot of fun & for such a good cause. Looks like a successful turnout too.

Smiles,

Ginger,
I finally am getting more time to actually work on a rug. I just dyed my first pieces of wool yesterday and now I need to cut them into strips.
Hope you are having a great weekend.
