I'd Rather Be Punching!

I finished up a couple of little oxford punch mats now on to the whipping phase. I'm already thinking of another little mat to make and I know I NEED to finish these before starting another.

We had a beautiful day today that reached up to 73 degrees....crazy weather for January but I'm not complaining...no sireee! If the weatherman is right come Tuesday we are in for what they are calling ice, snow, and sleet. Looks like I'll have plenty of time to get these lil' mats done and maybe a few more.

Well I can't stand it any longer...got to at least draw off the next piece I want to do. Wishing each of you a wonderful weekend.

Happy Trails....Ginger

Wonderful little mats Ginger! I love how you mixed all the shades. We got six inches of snow last night!

I need to try some again, be easier than hooking for now and fun to try some little ones.

I love the dog.
Is it punched with yarn or is it embroidery thread. I can't tell from the picture. Really doesn't look like embroidery thread.
Yea the warm weather is a little scary for this time of year. We are probably going to get nailed.

Katie~ The lil' dog is a pattern that Frank Bielec drew and I punched it using #6 wool strips. He is one of my favorite lil' dogs to punch!
