Deadlines! Don't they come quick!

Sleep deprived is the only answer to how I get things done. It seems like I look up each month and the 1st and the 15th are always arriving so quickly.

I just updated the Country Fried Primitives Shop and the Lemon Poppy Seeds shop whew I'm glad that is taken care of for a few days.

I'm trying to pack up a few projects to take along for my Texas trip. I'm going to start a rug I've been wanting to do for some time and I finally ordered the pattern and it arrived a few days ago. It's an Edyth O'Neill design "Peace On Earth" and I'm so looking forward to doing it. Maybe I'll even get a little sleep while I'm away....just got to remember to pack my pillow!

I'll have another pattern for My Primitive sampler on Saturday for those of you wanting the next free doodle.

Have a great day!

Punchneedle & Rug Hooking Updates

I've put the finishing touches on several punchneedle projects and will be listing them in the LPS and CFP shops in the next day or so. I also finished up a couple of small hooked items. Just click on the logo's on the left and see what we have in just a few days.

The weather here has turned off cool again and I'm anxious to get the fishing pole and head down to the pond. I think it's about time to introduce a little one to the fun of fishing. Hopefully he will enjoy it as much as I do.

The Beginning of Another Week!

We had a wonderfully warm spring day and tomorrow is suppose to be much the same. The schools are closed for spring~break and my nieces and nephews are enjoying some time off from schoolwork.

Sloan and I spent a good part of the day outside with him having wagon rides and it's funny how a 16 month old likes to walk with one foot on the edge of bricks along my flowerbed while the other foot walks along in the grass. Reminded me of Leave it to Beaver.

I finally got around this evening to updating my LPS,CFP, and ebay sites updated. There you will find rabbits, tulips, chicks, pinkeeps, and bowl fillers. I have so much more just needing some finishing touches.

Over the weekend we had a good time visiting with Danny's family and I caught my daughter Jenn having a rare moment sitting on her Daddy's lap. Think she still might be Daddy's girl!

Tis a Delightful Sunday!

It's such a wonderful Sunday afternoon. The humming of the washing machine has been going most of the day and the clothesline outside has been whipping the clothes dry in the cold prairie winds.

I just finished updating the Lemon Poppy Seed Shop and the Country Fried Primitive Shop.

I have so many new projects that just need some finishing touches but those will be saved for another day. I'm almost finished with a new little line drawing booklet filled with bunnies. Hopefully this week it will all come together.

We made it home in the wee hours of the morning after traveling from Alabama to deliver one of our trailers that was purchased by a man that is going to start putting in storm shelters.

We traveled across 5 states yesterday and I must admit my backside and back by the end of the trip was feeling every mile of it! Oh it's good to be home!

Needle Punch, Hooked Rugs, and Lil' Quilts

Jenn and I have been busy with needles, thread, floss, wool, and hooks making new items for our shops at LPS and CFP.

We have both shops filled with hooked rugs, pinkeeps, cupboard hangers, and some other sweet offerings.

If you find a few spare minutes we would love for you to stop by!

Cold Wintery Days and Keeping Busy!

December is flying by so fast and the cold temperatures have arrived. It's been a busy past few weeks for sure but I'm sure after the New Year things will slow down a bit. I dusted off my punch needle and made a few things to update the Lemon Poppy Seeds and Country Fried Primitives shops. I wanted to do more but it's that time of year! This one is just a little pillow with a simple primitive needle punch heart.

A little sewing pocket with a red wool pincushion. Perfect for little projects.

An olde~fashion heart with bits of gold to keep your pins and needles nice and sharp.

Then because I do love to make penny rugs....the 3 little kittens with a penny border. Mercy as cold as it's been they really should have mittens!

This week my daughter Jennifer Noel with celebrate her 24th birthday. Where has the time gone.

Then my little niece Megan will turn 7. She is just the sweetest thing always full of energy and happy to give you a hug!

Well I better get to work. No little elves here today to help me with my growing list. Just a sleeping little boy that will be ready to go hard at it again!

~*Sock It To Me*~

I have always been just a tad bit crazy when it comes to doing things....let's just say if your gonna do it you might as well do it right except for I have the hardest time keeping my sewing room clean.

Well as my daughter rolled her eyes and just shook her head I opened up a lil' shop over at Country Fried Primitives. Once a month I hope to do a few different little things.

These two little monkey's Dot and Spanky can be found over there. I need to finish up some of these UFO's of quilts that just lack the binding, embroideried pillowcases, and maybe even a few painted items.

Now remember tomorrow night is the drawing for the Welcome Snowman and then be sure and check back a few days after that because I've been gathering up some goodies I'm sure you'll love!
