Oh The Joys of A New Year!

As one year has closed yet another one has already begun. We celebrated the day by going to church this morning then having both of our families over for lunch. Everyone always brings a dish or two or three! We visit and the kids play. The dishes and food are taken care of and then the house becomes quiet again except for the occasional snoring I hear from the other room :)

One of the goals for this new year was to complete some of the patterns I have purchased over the last few years. Pati and Sandra also have the same rug pattern so we will be working on them and have set a goal to finish at least 3 this year.

Of course there will be other ones along the way but we do have several alike we want to do.

Here is the start to my "Give Ye Thanks" by Lori Brechlin of Notforgotten Farm.

Here it is right before I put it on the frame.

Pati about to begin work on hers.

Sandra showing one she is almost finished with.

Sandra did get her roof done!

Pati got quite a bit done, too!

Well I have several goals for this year and if they get done hooray and if they don't well no worries!

One of my goals is to get more walking in so with that said I'm off to do just that.

Happy New Year to each of you and many thanks for stopping by to take a peek into our lives out here on the farm!

Happy Trails....Ginger

Great start on the walking! As nice as it has been... I should have been out there too!

Hi,Ginger - What a nice start to your day. I wish our families were close by. Do you gals always get together
to rug hook? What fun, I think I would get much done if I had a little
group like that and a time set aside.
The rug is going to be beautiful.

What fun that all three of you are working on the same pattern. It will be interesting to see how differently they come out!
Hugs :)

How fun to be working on the same pattern all together! I hope you'll share more photos as your rugs progress - it'll be fun to see them all!
