Oxford Rug Punch, Crochet, Cows and Ninja's Oh My!
Well today as Sloan took a nap I drew up this lil' black sheep and before he woke up it was done....yes Oxford punch needle is super fast!
A couple of days ago I tried my hand at crocheting hats and made 2 in one afternoon. Got a special gal in mind to send them to. My cousin Sharron is dealing with a 2nd round of cancer and beat it once but it seems like it's back again but she's hanging in there and doing her best to beat it again. Please keep her in your prayers.
Last night Danny decided we needed to haul some of the older cows off to the market before winter days set in. So our littlest cowpoke came along to help.
He carefully made his way into the corral making sure where he was stepping to help them get into the trailer.
After he made sure they loaded up he decided he needed to have a lil' chat with his dad.
Today we had to go into town and pick up a few things and a lil' boy decided a ninja costume was one of the things we needed....and of course
WE did need it!
Happy Trails....Ginger

Ginger,
Wow, can't believe how fast you punch a rug! Cute hats for your cousin. I wish her well. Love seeing your boy as always. Miss seeing the little Pip tho! lol
Wow Ginger you are fast and busy - can you send me some of your time management skills!
Well of course you needed a Ninja costume - who doesn't! So cute!
Trinity was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle a couple of years ago! :) Great costume!
You are so right about the Oxford! It must be fast. Although, I have set mine aside again & returned to my regular rug hook. I will get it back out again soon! I promise!
Great hats & prayers for your cousin too!
Smiles,
Betty
You're crackin' me up again!!! Every Oxford puncher needs a Ninja outfit! ;-) Great pics of Sloan and the farm too!
Your Oxford punch sheep is great!! Did you use yarn or wool strips. Great job. I made one piece once. I should try again, it does go fast!.
Doris~ I did mix #6 wool strips and wool yarn for the oxford punch piece.
You sure do keep busy with creating and family life.
I used to have that kind of energy, lol.
Debbie
Hmm... if Oxford punch needle is that fast maybe I should give it a try! Lol, it would probably take me a month to do a rug like that. One of these days I'll get started, I'm just not ready for a new hobby yet.
Those are sweet hats for your cousin. I wish her well. Your lil' cowpoke is a cutie, love that cowboy hat on him!
