Guess Where I'm Headed?
Have You ever heard of Possum Kingdom? Well it's located in Texas west of Fort Worth and that's where I'll be for a couple of days. They have a huge lake and a great place to have a family reunion.
My Dad was born and raised in Texas and most of his kinfolk still live there. It's been a long time since we have all got together to just visit and some of us cousins decided it was time to have everyone that could meet for a few days and reminisce of days gone by and catch up on what's new.
We are planning on cookouts and a big ol' fish fry with all the fixins...not to mention all those homemade desserts. Ooooh I can hardly wait guess I better get to packing!
Happy Trails....Ginger

I have one coming up in July. The last one was 10 years ago and I didn't go because my mother was in the hospital at the time.

Not only do I love seeing what you create Ginger, but it's the family gatherings you have and share with us. I can tell you are all a very close knit family! Love seeing that, and hearing how you spend your time together. Have a wonderful trip, and take lots of pictures!!
Have a great time! Travel safely! :)
Sounds like you are fixin to have a grand ole time! Enjoy - sounds like fun!
Your possium picture is amazing. I have never seen one hanging in the tree. Cute now but mean and ugly when it grows up. Reminds me of the two my mother and I trapped outside of her home last summer. It was her great idea to set the trap, I somewhat reluctantly got the honors of opening the trap and letting them go down by the river several miles away from the house.
Well, have a great time with your family, sounds fun.
