My Primitive Sampler
~*B is for Basket*~

Happy May Day to all of you! We have been enjoying a cool day here on the prairies of Oklahoma and the rain has been falling filling the ponds.

Here's a little drawing for the primitive sampler. Feel free to use it for redwork, punchneedle, rug hooking, or folk art. Hope you enjoying making the little basket!

Thanks for these! Are you putting anything behind the fabric when you stitch it? I'm just wondering because I usually put batting behind for a stitchery, but I'm not sure when it's going into a quilt.

Jeanette~ I put pellon 911 it's a lightweight fusible behind the redwork on the backside of the fabric and it hides my stitching from showing on the front side but batting will also work.
