I've got the hooking bug...made me another little rug.
Little buds are starting to pop up even though the ground is so hard and dry. As I sit here after midnight typing thunder booms in the background. Perhaps the clouds in the sky will open wide and drop much needed rain on our parched, thirsty fields. The ponds are so low and fire danger has been high for much of our state.
In just a few hours I will be teaching needlepunch to two ladies that have been wanting to give it a try for quite awhile. It's always fun to see the excitement when someone learns something new.
My niece "Megan" has become a basketball star! This was her first year of playing team basketball and she loves it. Of course having a big brother to watch and get tips from always helps.
Don't forget to enter the giveaway at the top right of the blog if you want to give needlepunch a try!
Have a great week, give your kids and grandkids a hug and tell them you love em'....
Happy Trails....Ginger

I love your rug, Ginger! I wish we had some sign of "spring" life in Michigan....still cold, rainy and just plain icky weather. It sounds like you are going to have fun teaching your needle punch..always nice to share some form of needle work to others. Your niece is adorable!

I love the rug !
Wonderful rug, I am getting in the mood myself. I have been working on the big one for awhile and tempted to make a small one for fun.
You niece looks so happy and proud of her accomplishment:)

Ginger, that rug is my favorite! It is just beautiful... you are so very talented!
Your niece reminds me of my youngest... last year she played flag football and came home with the MVP ribbon ahead of all the boys. Makes a mom proud!
Blessings, Kimberly
