~Pay It Forward Christmas Giveaway~

There's a song in the air! There's a star in the sky! There's a mother's deep prayer and a baby's low cry! And the star rains it's fire while the beautiful sing, For the manger of Bethlehem cradles a King!

Hello Friends and Folks,

Yes I'm on post number 2 for the evening. I've been thinking a lot about the giveaways I have been having throughout the Holidays and I want to change this one up just a bit.

I have had such fun doing these little giveaways and it is truly better to give than receive. Actually I have received in return by reading your comments. I hope as you have written in your own comment you have read some of the comments by others and perhaps it touched your heart just a bit.

Okay for this giveaway I am going to send one of you some warm fuzzy socks, Bath & Body Works hand soap, Victoria's secret body spray, Candycane Cocoa, Home Interiors Banana Nut Bread Candle, Hershey's Chocolates, Snowman Towel and Potholder, Christmas notebook, and a surprise or two!

Now for the rules.....If you enter to win by leaving a comment you have to be willing to pay it forward. I'm gonna send you a $20.00 gift card to spend on someone else and I would like for it to be someone on an angel tree, a nursing home patient, or a shut~in. Someone who could really use a little Christmas Cheer!

I'll be announcing a winner on Sunday night Novemeber 30th.

Happy Trails....Ginger

This is the most awesome gift!!! I will use it if I win and add to it. I work with the less fortune in many ways. I volunteer at our locial food pantry and I am a member of our interchurch group who helps others inur community. We recieve no help form any state agencies it comes from the hearts and pockets of those in our very small town. You have made my day. May you have blessings beyond all measure....m...

Oh Ginger you come up with the most wonderful ideas. Please include me in this, I buy items from an Angel tree here each Christmas. Can't exactly remember when I started doing it.

My son is disabled and lives in a home with 3 other disable gentlemen. They help deliver meals to the elderly around this area everyday of the week.

Tell you what I am going to do... match your $20.00 plus still buy from the Angel tree also, and even if I don't win I am still going to do it!

Hello Ginger,

Your such a sweet heart for doing such wonderful things! You just have amazing ideas! Every year we purchase new PJ'S for children in other countries and we have people within our church who get to deliver them! We also do angels off the tree at Church for children within our Church who have less. It's so very rewarding to do and my children love picking the items and we already have been working on it and my son wants to make sure he can give her enough so she can share with a friend! That brought tears to my eyes thinking a 6 year old came up with that....he tells me all the time he's going to be a missionary :-)!! So your card would be put to good use!

Anyway Thanks Ginger and have a Lovely night and keep warm...it's freezing here!

;-)

Ginger...this is the greatest giveaway...just the thought of paying it forward is wonderful! I would love to enter! I can think of so many people and ways to do this that it would be hard to choose one, so I'd probably have to let my daughter pick one...You truly have a servant's heart! Thanks so much for this! I always think that by giving and complimenting others, I am the one that benefits! :)

Have a great Thanksgiving week!
Tammy

Ginger, I would be honored to participate! What a fantastic idea!

Last year for Christmas, all the shopping we did for our whole family was to buy them each an animal or item through World Vision. For example, one of our girls got school uniforms for girls in Africa, and the other recieved funds to educate a young girl in China. What a great learning experience for our kids!My parents got fruit trees and a goat, Robyn's parents got something like a pig and chickens... and my 93 year old grandma got warm blankes donated in her name. It was the most rewarding Christmas, sharing such useful things to people who really need them!

Blessings to you! Kimberly

Oh Ginger, what a beautiful, beautiful way to give of yourself. It's what the season is all about. If by some chance my name is chosen, please send the package of Paula of October Moon. She is such a dear and has a generous heart as well. I was so touched by her post.

Wishing you and yours a joyous Thanksgiving,

Please enter me in this. This would be a wonderful addition to our growing Holiday Traditions I am starting. My children are young (but old enough to realise) and I want to show them that not everyone is as Blessed as we are and that God wants us to show them the same love he gives us. I want them to want to give and just receive. This would be so wonderful! I thank you for this opportunity. Have a very Blessed day!

Please enter me in your giveaway. What a wonderful idea the pay it forward is! I play the piano for sing-alongs at our local nursing home and there are sooo many wonderful folks there ~ and so many of them are alone ~ no family nearby to visit with them. I always try to do something to make the holidays special for some of them.

You truly have a heart of gold! I'm in college at the moment studying to be a math teacher. One of the organizations I am in is having a glove and mitten drive for the elementary school near my college. These students have so many needs. I'd love to surprise them with an entire bag full of gloves!

What an awesome giveaway. You are such a generous person. We are doing the angel tree at our church and I actually picked up some yesterday to help make a child feel loved on Christmas. Will definitely pay it forward if I win.

Ginger, you are so thoughtful. I would love to help someone else out this year. I normally try and help out a needy family around my area but this year things are just to tight. I pray the Lord will bless you as you bless someone else! Blessings, karen

What an absolutely awesome way to give thru a blog giveaway! I love picking a name from an angel tree & giving a gift, sending Christmas cards to local nursing homes (from Santa of course) all those little things make the holiday seem more like the season it's meant to be!

Such variety and so well thought out! I'm actually new to your blog this morning and found it through your award. Well deserved. I'm a Christmas music/old hymns fan as well and sing them to my children to put them to bed (it really works). As for the giveaway...the women and children I work with at the homeless shelter would enjoy to be "paid forward"!
Thanks for spreading the cheer so joyfully!
