A Busy Summer!

Wow it has been a whole month since I have been on here!  What have I been up too????
Well of course the grands are a big part of the summer and we have been busy with the library, outside play, reading books, and baking cookies :)
The punch needle is still popping through the cloth in the late evenings after the grandkiddos have gone home.  The above piece is about 15"  across and I like all the silly sheep.

This lively rooster is one I did in a class recently with Heather Ritchie.  I used lots of different things to create the flowers and the bright rooster tail.  The edge is also crocheted.

I am teaching a couple of classes in oxford punch and decided a stocking would be a fun piece.  I have 7 patterns for stockings and mittens I will share the rest sometime soon.  I have included them all in a booklet.

I finally completed Betty's rug.....yes the lil' darlin' is 4 months old!  Momo is slow but sure :)

The summer is quickly passing and I have been in full speed getting ready to leave for Branson, Missouri the early part of September.  I will be vending for 2 months at Silver Dollar City.  So lots of packing, sorting, and packaging has been happening around the farm!

Hopefully I will be able to catch up on what all of you have been doing soon.

Happy Trails.....Ginger

Oh Miss Ginger!!! Your new goodies are even better than all your other goodies. You just keep making and creating works of gold my friend! LOVELY! Betty's rug is so super charming!!!

I've been punching with your wool threads too & love them... but I need to order some more. I'm almost out!!! I can't wait to see you in MO for the hook-in and still hope to visit you in Branson too! :-)

You have been keeping busy and making some fun new pieces. I need to make a larger frame for rug punch, would love to try a yarn rug.
