What a Surprise!

The ol' flu bug bit me...OUCH but I'm on the mend. So if you get it go to the doctor and get tamiflu it will fix you up and fast.

Yesterday I was taking Sloan out to my truck for a ride into town. He goes to "MoMo's" Day out or school twice a week for a couple of hours. He enjoys his friends and teachers and I get a walk in and some groceries bought. Well as I opened my the back door to my truck what a surprise.....of all things the cat. AS you can imagine I was SHOCKED. I hadn't been in my truck and then I remembered asking Danny the day before to take my sis some papers to work. Miss Kitty must have snuck in when he was getting things between the two trucks.

Now if that wasn't surprise enough she had kittens right there on top of a pile of jackets. Thank goodness she didn't make a mess. Sloan was more than overjoyed at the sight and couldn't quit laughing at me. All the time I'm thinking my truck! I just bought it last year brand spanking new....again so thankful she is such a GOOD cat and didn't make a mess.

Well now the moma and her kittens are safely in a box nearby and I must say she is doing a good job.

Sloan now is telling everyone that the cat laid eggs and had kittens. His big question is "Momo are you proud of the cat?".....I sure am she didn't make a mess!

Guess we will be looking for some new homes for some kittens and see about getting Miss Kitty fixed.

Happy Trails...Ginger

Oh my goodness! I'm so glad she didn't make a mess too! But, after the fact, this sure is a funny story! I mean... what are the chances she'd sneak in the brand new truck, never mind have kittens too? :-) Glad you are healing from the nasty flu bug...

LOL glad it is your story and not mine... my cat gave birth on the bottom of my wedding dress that was hanging in a closet.. and she did make a mess. The dress is no longer with us.
