Making Hay While the Sun Shines

Seems like everytime we need to do a little farming we have a problem....so Dad was good to come over with his equipment and start cutting the hay for us. Hay is going to be scarce this year in our area as we haven't seen enough rain and with the temps staying so high the fields are beginning to burn up.

Sloan and his great~grandpa looking over the large garden. My mom and dad have a huge garden that has a variety of veggies.

This is where we try to stay most of the time is in the shade it's just too hot out in the sunshine.

He tells me often he wants to stay little because it's so much fun. Ahhhh to be carefree again :)

An empty nest we found.

Gathering up feathers.

Time to get the feet wet!

Keeping the feeders full is becoming a daily task. We have about 15 hummers that have come for a stay.

Silly kids and worms!

The 3 M's....Maggie, Megan, and Mandy....enjoying a swim!

Happy Trails.....Ginger

It looks so nice and summery. I had no idea that the weather had been like that.
I guess I need to pay better attention to the weather.
Try and stay cool.

I love that picture of Sloan in the tree. He looks so serious and contemplative. I wonder what he is thinking?
