Oklahoma has very few days that we get enough snow to actually get out and play! This week is the week to take time to play and if you are a 6 year old boy with school dismissed you expect to get to go outside and take aim with a few snowballs!
Yes we pelted each other quite a bit and worked on a snowman as well as built a tiny igloo! Afterwards a hot chocolate warmed us right back up :)
Last week I had a mishap with my left wrist and so no lifting anything heavy with that arm for a little bit. Hasn't slowed me down on the needle punch!
The birds have been at the feeder for most of the daylight hours and the trees are full of happily chirping birds of all kinds!
Wishing you a week of some playtime!
Happy Trails.....Ginger

Aren't snow days the very best? I loved them when I was a kid and loved them when I was teaching, too!
Enjoy!

We all need fun days, enjoyed yours, Blessings Francine.
Sounds like a perfect day to me. So good to get out in the snow with the kids it reminds us of our childhood.

Ginger,
Looks like you and Sloan had a fun time with the snow! He is growing up so fast it seems. What a fun gran you are! Take care of your wrist. Thinking of you and hoping it feels better very soon. Hugs, Lori
Sounds like a great way to spend time!Such great memories that you all made together.I am sorry to hear that you hurt your wrist, may it heal soon.Blessings,Jen
Playing in the snow is the best way to spend a day. I wear a brace at night and a stretch one when I punch, helps to eliminate too much stress and also a way to work when we hurt ourselves;)

Yay! You guys got some snow too! Enjoy it! Hopefully we won't have to hear the word "drought" this Summer...
Fun in the snow... and always good to follow it up with a good cup of hot chocolate!
