Another Use for Wool

Finished up hooking this happy guy...Just got to steam and bind it. It's the first time I ever used purple as a background. It sure is different and boy is it bright!

Did you know that you can use wool to make a trap? Someone snatched a bunch of my wool strips to lay a trap.

Happy Trails....Ginger

Purple is fun to use on halloween pieces and fun to change from our normal shades and have some fun.

That is so funny, the only thing I think he will catch will be grandma. :) I remember when my daughter was that age, my grandpa told her that if she put salt on a birds tail she could catch it. I filled a salt shaker and she sat outside all day.

I just love that picture. Oh I like your pumpkin head guy too, very cute.

I'd guess you can use anything, if your trap is subtle enough, lol. Did you get caught? Love the purple background of your rug. It's a great color!!

Ginger, I love your latest creation, very colorful. I have recently noticed Halloween items making their way to store shelves! And how creative is Sloan! Sending greetings from Maine, Julie.

Cool purple!

I think Sloan is onto something... I can think of a lot of people who have become TRAPPED by woolly worms... they are called rug hookers! :)

That's awesome that Sloan has such a great imagination.
Most kids now a days lack that ability and I think they really miss out.

Hi Ginger,
Love the pumpkin guy mat! I think the colors look great together ...
So nice that Sloan can entertain himself ... most kids today need something electronic in their hands to do that!
Stay cool ...
