Summer Days..... Pass Me a Glass of Iced Tea!

Staying busy pulling weeds and watering everything as the rains are so scarce. So dry and parched here in central Oklahoma. It's been miserably hot and about the only thing you want to do is find a cool place to stay and sip on a glass of iced tea.
It's been so hot I really haven't played with much wool and so I pulled out the paints and got busy painting. It's something Sloan and I can do together.

This rooster seems to be saying "Rise and Shine"....

Found a few softballs and baseballs at a thrift store so gave them a coat of paint, too!

We had a few storm clouds come up tonight but not one lil' drop of rain. We sure could use a good steady rain.

Happy Trails.....Ginger

It had been a while since we got rain, then it started on Friday and has rained every day since. (Nice for me as I don't have to lug the watering can!!) I hope you get some rain and cooler temps soon, Ginger! Love the paintings. I have no artistic talent in that area at all. I can barely draw stick people, lol.

Oh my I love all the paintings. But the little red house is my favorite. I have a soft spot in my heart for red houses as my very favorite home was a little red house where I raised my babies. LOVE THE PAINTING!! BEAUTIFUL!

I have never thought of painting baseballs. They are perfect for summer display all painted red, white and blue.

Again, we've been having lots and it would be so nice if there was a way to bottle it up and send it to you all that are so dry.
I love your paintings and those baseballs are cute!

Hi Ginger! Just spent some time in Tulsa with family. Oh, it is so, so hot! Couldn't even think about pulling out the wool applique projects I brought along! Hope you get some cooler temps and rain soon!
