Strolling Down Main Street

You Might see this in downtown Purcell, Oklahoma!

Saturday morning starting at 10 am Pati, Danny and I began taking down our booth in the Auntie Mae's Antique shop. We were offered a booth in the front window and with lots of shoppers strolling down the sidewalks I'm hoping they will see something that catches their fancy and come on in!

Pati made this piece and I'm betting it will be gone in no time.....I received the same pattern as a gift and I believe it's time to get busy and make myself one!

After 8 hours of working on moving everything we were beginning to get a lil' crazy!

Saturday morning 3 of my nieces along with 2 of my sisters had a yard sale over at my daughter Jenn's house. She lives in Purcell and it makes for a perfect place for the girls to have a lemonade stand. It's been extremely windy the last few days and even with the temps soaring in the afternoons it can be a little chilly in the mornings.

The house is really coming along on the addition. I'll share a few pics in a few days. Wishing each of you a safe and happy week.

Happy Trails....Ginger

hey, Your booth looks GREAT! Had been checking your blog all day to see if you would post pictures. That had to be a lot of work moving it up front and center. You all did a fabulous job.

What a wonderful piece Pati made. Love that it combines an old quilt and wool applique! Her work is beautiful! Lots of things I'd love to handle, and pick up!

Love the stitchery, I have done one with the same saying only it wasn't a penny rug. Eight hours of moving things would tend to make you a little crazy!:-)

Hey Ginger the booth/window looks great, it would draw me in for sure.
We had wind and 86 degrees yesterday.
The girls look as tho they had fun at the garage sale.
Excited to see your addition completed.

When I was in 4th grade and I had this really cool Sunday School teacher she had a poster on the wall with that saying that is on that picture that PattiJane made. I would buy that too. Your little shop is great. If I were going to Oklahoma to visit my sister I would make Purcell one of the stops. I want to go to that shop so bad. Everything is lovely. Every time I visit this time of year though, Every where I go is tornado. :)

Your booth looks great and I wish that I lived closer so that I could see it in real life. Maybe I should pay a visit to my friend in Oklahoma, and then we could stop by.

Your booth looks fabulous, but just be careful of any sun coming in through the window. Things can fade VERY quickly.
Love your goofy pics.
Hugs :)
