Just a small sampling of the quilts and crocheted throws here on the farm. Some were made by me, some by my grandma's and mother~in~law. Some were rescued from a shop or auction. Hours of stitching or crocheting in each one.
Do you remember those days of crawling under one of grandma's quilts on a cold winters night?
Well it's late here once again time to go slip beneath the warmth of a bed covered with an old fashion quilt.
Happy Trails....Ginger

Oh how nice you have a bunch. I don't have that many but what I do I sure do treasure. Have a great week.
Hi Ginger ~ the quilts are lovely and something to be proud of ... And what really makes them special is because you and your relatives hand made them.... I love the crocheted throws. It seems when I crochet,I only get a small doily done, I always wanted a bedspread. Maybe someday.

So many beautiful quilts. That butterfly one looks alot like the one that my great grandmother made that I so cherish! (different colors of course)
There is nothing more cozy than crawling underneath a good ol' cotton quilt.
All so beautiful - Great snugglers!
Hi Ginger,
Your quilts are beautiful ... Love all the old things.
Growing up in New England, and living in a BIG old drafty Colonial ... you didn't turn the heat up (woodstoves and fireplaces) you piled on more quilts ... The heavier the weight the warmer you were ...
However ... you could not move to well! LoL ...Love the good old days. Thanks for sharing your much loved quilts, and a fond memoery revisited.
Have a great week.
