A Tulip For Thee

Finished up Mr. O'Hare and his first tulip of spring. I used my oxford punch on this one and it's quite large 13 x 19 and took two evenings to complete except for the binding.

No signs of tulips popping up here yet but we do have those purple weeds. Funny how a lil' boy told me he liked my purple flowers while we were out enjoying some sunshine. Seems like no matter what in life there is always a few weeds that need tending too!

I hope your spring is well on it's way!

Happy Trails....Ginger

  1. Cute bunny Ginger! We don't have any tulips yet either, but there are greens popping up from lilies & jonquils. :) I'm sure there are lots of greesn from dandelions too! Our yard is always riddled with those.

  8. I just love Mr. O'Hare! He looks so serious and intent on giving that tulip to someone special!

Yep, I'm with lil' boy on this one. When I was little, I just couldn't understand why some things were "just a weed" and other things we considered wonderful flowers and we couldn't pick them. To me, the "weeds" were just as beautiful, if not more so. To this day, a canning jar full of wild flowers and weeds means more than the roses!!!!
