I didn't have enough different types of crafts I like.....
I tried knitting and in two evenings finished this scarf. I had actually tried knitting before and gave up this time It was actually easy and fun!
Now what to try next???
Guess your never to old to learn something new!

ReplyDeleteIf I stopped learning something new, I think my life would become VERY boring. Always doing what you know, keeps one in a very small box.
I like to expand my mind and exercise my brain beyond what it is comfortable with.
Knitting is a lot of fun, and when your project is finished, you get usable, wearable items and gifts.
I have been knitting for over 30+ years, almost daily. And hope to do it as long as I live.
Hope you like it enough to stick with it ... and for a first your scarf looks GREAT!
That is a really fun piece, I need to get my hook out and try some smaller pieces.
